A 1962 Blonde Tolex Fender Twin.
Featuring 2 12 inch speakers driven with a 60 watt tube circuit the sound
is powerful and clean. This model was standard equipment for working bands
that filled crowded dance halls in a time when public address (PA) systems
were reserved exclusively for vocal reinforcement. The rare blonde Tolex
covering is a fabric backed synthetic rubber compound that Fender began
to use on musical instrument amplifiers with the '62 fender line. The
color spec quickly changed to chocolate in '63 and then to black by 1964.
A true blonde is a coveted Fender amp and the 3d model I made allows more
people to enjoy its unique contribution to the history of electric guitar
music.
