The light in Florida is incredible, especially during the long spring and fall seasons that we enjoy. Anyone who has viewed a Sycamore tree under a cloudless sky can appreciate the special quality of light as it sparkles and bounces between the bright bark and paper thin leaves. I created this tree in Tree Designer out of individual limb and leaf segments. The scene was assembled in Moray and rendered in POVray. The render occupied the full attention of my dual 233 pentium graphics computer for 56 hours but the detail on the full size original bitmap is incredible.
