This is a Nationals race track featuring my Kolomoki Carousel Terrain. Its a great terrain for lap racing with off camber turns that require confidence and skill.
This terrain was generated with Bryce 4 as a fractal hill with some soft erosion. The technique is inspired by two poplular MCM2 Nationals tracks. Fractal Mountain by Old Robin and A River by Scumbiker. Both of these tracks were originated in Terragen as a natural terrain and then the track was "carved" to match the natural comtours.
Kolomoki Carousel was created in a similar fashion. The course follows the natural curves created by the erosion features. A few berms have been added to help riders stay on the course and lots of earthwork jumps have been built on the slopes to keep it exciting. You will discover many lines on this track. There are lots of ways to clear the quick jump sections and tight curves. How will you know which way is fastest?
