Micousoukee Maze is a visual departure from what I had imagined a Nationals Race track to be. I am fascinated with riding trails and the sense of exploration an unfamiliar trail system can offer. Here is a race in just such an enviroment. The race begins in an open area but quickly enters the woods on a network of parrellel trails that meander in a fast circuit. You will need lots of skill and patience to find a fast line. The curves are fast with ugly off camber sections. Keep your wheel near the ground until you klearn the layout. If you are willing to cut through the trees you will find some killer jumps and shortcuts with sweet landings. Take special care riding across the old bridges spanning Kolomoki Creek, most were installed for fire suppression work in the fifties and were never meant for traffic or racing.
