Granola Bars
Granola Ingredients:
- 1-1/2 cups Oats
- 1/4 cup Pumpkin Seeds
- 1/4 cup Sesame Seeds
- 1/4 cup Chia Seeds soaked in 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup Almonds
- 1/2 cup Raisins
- 3 Tablespoons of Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Honey
- 1 cup Chocolate Chips
- 1 Teaspoon of Salt (less if seeds or nuts are salted)
- 3 Tablespoons of melted Butter for Granola
- 1 Tablespoon of melted Butter for greasing the baking pan
Preparation:
Preheat Oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit
Grease a 9" x 12" pan with 1 Tablespoon of melted Butter
Mix all the Granola Ingredients together and spoon into greased pan
Pour 2 Tablespoons of melted Butter over Granola mix
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 300 degrees and bake for another 20 minutes.
Remove pan and let it cool.
When the pan has cooled enough, place it in the freezer to solidify the bars.
Cut the bars when they are cool enough to retain shape.
Remove from freezer but continue to store at cool temperature until serving.
