The Twisted Dirt Ramp Kit is a package of custom made,
MCM2 ready, ramp objects that you can download and use in your track
designs.
The basic design features a open under story which looks great but
has the added benefit of allowing A.I. riders to reset if they crash
on the ramp. Observations suggest that when the A.I. riders crash
and reset on big "box" style ramps, the closed sides can
trap the A.I. riders in a perpetual loop: crash, reset, crash, etc.
The constant reseting impacts game performance and becomes a distraction.
This is most likely to occur if the Spline runs thru the length of
the ramp. It is less likely to occur if the spline just angles across
the bottom of the ramp. This characteristic should discourage Designers
from placing big box ramps on the center spline of a National or SX
style races.
The
open design encourages Designers to place the ramps right along the
spline. Riders that crash can easily reset on the ground below.
the ramp kit also works great for stunts, tag, baja and enduro.
