Moab Wildlife

Home | Video

While walking in the desert in the Moab area, we do not see many animals, but we do see a lot of animal tracks. Many desert critters are nocturnal or crepuscular (active at dawn and dusk). I have taken pictures of tracks in the sand and snow, and searched for clues to identify what is making the tracks. Finally I bought some a motion sensor trail cameras with infrared for night photography, and have begun a project to see who makes the desert their home.

I will continue to post my pictures and short videos on this site. I hope you enjoy the delightful antics of these wonderful animals in our midst.
